Ken Lord attended Gettysburg College and studied abroad earning his Bachelor of Arts in the Humanities and Creative Arts. His entrepreneurial interest in real estate and construction was cultivated during his college studies here and abroad. Shortly after graduation, he launched his career by speculating and selling several single-family homes in the Philadelphia region. Ken has continued to manage all aspects of each project and ensures that the company adapts to an ever-changing economic climate. He continually focuses on keeping the company competitive with business, design and environmental standards and trends.
Staying true to this commitment, Ken has partnered with the architecture firm, BrightBuilt Home of Portland Maine, as the preferred builder of Net Zero Energy modular and stick-built homes. This partnership covers the Mid-Atlantic region including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
In addition, Ken is one of a handful of builders in the northeast region who has completed the rigorous training and received accreditation as a Certified Passive House Builder (PHIUS).
By developing a specialized expertise in both sustainable systems, Ken remains well-versed in the construction methods and techniques essential to building high-performance, energy-efficient, comfortable, and environmentally-conscious homes that consume less energy. Ken can also consult with you and your architect on any sustainable project you may be designing.
